50th Class Reunion 2017
"We Did it Again"
June 23-25, 2017
Our 50th Year Gala Reunion was a remarkable and a memorable event seeing teachers and classmates. We were reminded of the relentless march of time and the importance of relationships. We reveled in memories of youth and gloried in sharing the blessing and difficulties time has brought our way. All of us who were there felt the need “To Do It Again”. We were grateful to use this occasion to renew friendships and remember the gift of time together we had been given. See slide show

Last Class of All-Black Stone High School Celebrates 50-Year
Reunion
Year after year, fewer and fewer students from the last graduating class of the old Stone High are left to tell the stories of one of Brevard County's once all-black high schools.
From the Class of 1967 — the last class before schools were integrated — 41 of the 73 students have passed away, and was remembered as their classmates came together for a 50-year reunion. Principal U.F. Gibbs and Vice Principal H.C. Bailey have also since passed.
The last all-black class to graduate from Stone High School was in 1967. The school was integrated the following year. Monroe High School of Cocoa graduated its last class in 1968 and integrated 1969.
Racial progress necessitated bringing about the end of an era. Read more:
