My bestest Friend, as you grieve, know that we are remembering you and honoring the memory of our little sister Raselene. Hold tight to memories for comfort, lean on your friends for strength, and always remember how much you are cared about. My prayers will continue as I ask God to bless you and your siblings and to give you the strength and courage you need in this very sad and difficult time. Rase lived her faith every day and we owe it to her to show our faith and keep her beautiful memory alive. Our prayers should be in thanks for having had her in our midst all these many years.

Jesse Kimbrough 1947-2018 ... A True Soldier
Soldier is defined as a person who served or serves in an Army.  Army is defined as a permanent organization of the military land forces of a nation or state.  This is what Jesse Kimbrough chose to do shortly after finishing school.  He served this Country and he excelled while doing it.  After his retirement from active duty, Jesse never quit soldiering.  He never lost that image of being a soldier and was able to make the transition back to a more traditional life.  Often times not easily done.
Jesse returned home to join another Army.  The definition of this army is defined as "a large number of people united for some specific purpose".  The purpose he chose to undertake can be summed up in two words "giving back".  Another two words that fits his undertaking is "helping others".  The vehicles he selected for his endeavors was The Monroe High School Alumni Organization, The Monroe High School Class of 67 Organization, the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Organization, and several other organizations that he thought worthy.
Jesse was a tireless worker, who gave it his best shot whenever called upon to lead, assist, or offer guidance.  Words such as no, I can't, it won't work, I don't have time, rarely came from him.  A truly engaging individual who made you feel at ease whenever you encountered him.  His legacy will live on.  He left his mark.  The Class of 1967 was able to reach higher and extend itself, because of his work.  We have been honored and are extremely proud that he was a part of us.
