Hi everybody,  Committees sprang up to run the institutions, and in the 1820s the state of Massachusetts made the committees independent of local governments, establishing the model for the autonomous school districts that exist throughout the country today.  https://goo.gl/mxkvgr

50th Class Reunion Thank You Remarks   Every Team has to have a Captain.  Every Ship has to have a Rudder.  Every Organization has to have a Leader.  Every Country has a President.  The MHS Reunion Committee had all of that.  Without that, you'll experience disarray,  no direction, a lack of ideas, and most of all NO HOPE of Accomplishment or Completion of your GOALS.  Thanks to this committee, they had that in YOU.  While it is vitally important to have Leadership,  it is EQUALLY IMPORTANT for a Leader TO SURROUND themselves with LIKE TALENT.  It is this group of people that provides the Power and Movement for the TEAM, the SHIP, the ORGANIZATION, and to ANY COUNTRY.   THIS COMMITTEE had no Disarray,   plenty of Direction, no Lack of Idea's,  and plenty of Hope.MY THANKS to a Great Committee.  Well done guys.  A GREAT TIME WAD HAD BY ALL. Leroy Eubanks, Classmate

We're Going to Miss Our Willie Bell Willie Bell was killed in a four-vehicle, chain-reaction crash on Interstate 95. See details of the accident... The sorrow of the faithful is not that of permanent loss, but the tender sense of sadness that comes in saying good-bye for now to someone we love. May today's sorrow give way to the peace and comfort of God's love. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Families .... Funeral Services will be Saturday, January 10, 2015 at 3:00PM First Baptist Church Merritt Island, FL Click here for map

Willie Bell... Our deepest sympathies go out to our classmate Willie Bell (Davis) and her family. We truly hope this finds you well and holding up over the loss of your beloved sister Alice Hampton.  We are reminded of the Bible passage that says "Blessed are those that mourn for they shall be comforted." We hope that you find that comfort and that your faith will guide you during this difficult time. May God give you the comfort and peace that you seek and may the soul of your dear sister rest in peace. Monroe High School Class 1967~ September 23, 2014
